Conditions of Registration

As a member of the Mascot Netball Club, you agree to abide by the Club Constitution and By Laws, Codes of Behaviour, Anti-Harassment Policy, Child Protection Policy, Sports Injury Insurance Policy (All available upon request to a committee member).

You must meet all Canteen and other duties assigned to your team.

Playing in a higher age group

A player may request to play in a higher age group, however the final decision to do so will be made by the Grading Committee and Club Registrars based on team numbers. On occasions, players may be requested by the Club to play in a higher age group. This will only occur when the required numbers for a team are not reached.

Playing with friends

While our Club can appreciate that children like to play in teams with their friends, we encourage them to make new friends in the teams into which they are placed. Requests to play in teams with friends will be considered, however it is in the child’s best interest to play within a team of similar ability. Please bear in mind that Netball is a graded sport.

Late Registrations

Late registrations may be accepted by the Club provided that players are required in that age group, as advertised on our website following gradings, however preference will always be given to players that have registered by the due date.

Grading

Grading day information (including time slots) will be displayed on the club website. Grading days are usually held at JJ Cahill Memorial High School gym, enter via Horner Ave, Mascot. Please ensure you arrive 15 minutes before your allocated times for warm-up.

Grading is the process of establishing the number and composition of Mascot Netball Club tams to compete in the Randwick Netball Association. Decisions are made by an independent Grading Committee in conjunction with reports supplied by the previous season’s Coach.

Grading Day is important and we encourage all players to attend.

Withdrawing Registration

Should a player wish to withdraw from the season competition prior to 1 March, an administration fee of $85.00 will be deducted from monies paid.  Withdrawal after 1 March wherein the club has registered teams with RNA/Netball NSW will be charged a fee of $155.00.  After the season commences unfortunately will not see any refunds due to amounts already paid out to RNA and Netball NSW.
